"mahalo to all of you who took the time to read Mysterious News"
On November 8, 2016, a momentous transition began. No, it's probably not the one you're thinking of.
Having wrapped up the Kindle publication of The Catalonian Candidate and put out the November 4 edition of Mysterious News, I picked up a project to align mindfulness and other effective non-drug techniques in a course to treat the symptoms of depression on a short- and long-term basis called From Depression to Well-Being 10 Minutes at a Time.
I started work on the project last year, but since the presidential race began to revolve around political issues addressed in the rough draft of The Catalonian Candidate, on November 2, 2015, my Wednesday evening critique group, expecting another mindfulness exercise, got eight months of a sexy political thriller instead.
From my side, the transition isn't really all that great. The mindfulness literature addresses cause and effect (the subject of Last Heartthrob) and desire (The Catalonian Candidate). So, mindfulness has been a part of my writing process all along.
If you're interested in following me through this new transition, which should deliver just as many or more aha moments, shoot me an email.
